Hello, dear friends and family!

I want to take a moment to share my story with you on how God has led me to an incredible opportunity with the Gift of Mary. After spending six fulfilling years in the banking industry, with the help of my spiritual guide, I reached a point of deep reflection and discernment about my career and purpose in life. As I prayed and sought guidance, I felt a strong calling from God to step away from my job and dedicate my time and energy to serving the women of Pittsburgh through this amazing Catholic non-profit organization.

Leaving the stability of my banking career was not an easy decision, but I felt an undeniable pull towards helping those in need. Gift of Mary is dedicated to creating a safe place for women, by serving women experiencing homelessness, addiction, and abuse providing them with meals, clothing, and most importantly, a community rooted in Christ. I am truly excited about this opportunity because it allows me to grow deeper in my faith and cultivate a closer relationship with God through my service to others. I believe that in serving these women, I can also bring more people to know and experience the love of God, especially those who are struggling.

¡Hola, queridos amigos y familiares!

Quiero tomarme un momento para compartir mi historia con ustedes sobre cómo Dios me ha llevado a una oportunidad increíble con Gift of Mary. Después de pasar 6 años satisfactorios en la industria bancaria, con la ayuda de mi guía espiritual, llegué a un punto de profunda reflexión y discernimiento sobre mi carrera y propósito en la vida. Mientras rezaba y buscaba orientación, sentí un fuerte llamado de Dios para alejarme de mi trabajo y dedicar mi tiempo y energía a servir a las mujeres de Pittsburgh a través de esta increíble organización católica sin fines de lucro.

Dejar la estabilidad de mi carrera bancaria no fue una decisión fácil, pero sentí una atracción innegable para ayudar a los necesitados. Gift of Mary se dedica a crear un lugar seguro para las mujeres, al servir a las mujeres que experimentan la falta de vivienda, la adicción y el abuso, proporcionándoles comidas, ropa y, lo más importante, una comunidad arraigada en Cristo. Estoy realmente emocionada por esta oportunidad porque me permite crecer más profundamente en mi fe y cultivar una relación más cercana con Dios a través de mi servicio a los demás. Creo que al servir a estas mujeres, también puedo llevar a más personas a conocer y experimentar el amor de Dios, especialmente a aquellas que están luchando. Los invito a todos a la misión conmigo. Note: Gift of Mary is a nonprofit devoted to serving homeless women in downtown Pittsburgh and leading impactful mission trips. Through practical care, community-building, and spiritual accompaniment, we walk alongside those in need and invite others to join us in this work of mercy.
