Hello! My name is Rosie Logue. I’m a recent graduate of Franciscan University and an alumna of Crown of Creation Household. I’m passionate about Theology of the Body, recognizing the dignity of the human person, and embracing my call to spiritual motherhood in every encounter. During my time in Crowns, I came to see that spiritual motherhood is deeply rooted in service and sacrifice. It means offering yourself in love to those around you, while also humbly receiving the love and service of others. Spiritual motherhood requires the courage to give, the openness to receive, and the humility to be transformed.

I wasn’t raised Catholic and attended public school until sixth grade, when I transferred to Assumption School. It was there that I first experienced the richness of spiritual motherhood through my teachers, whose witness helped lead me to the Sacraments. What began as volunteering at my parish, Regina Coeli, to fulfill service hours, gradually became a sincere desire to serve others with compassion and the gift of self. While studying Theology of the Body and Gaudium et Spes at Franciscan, I came to understand that it is through a sincere gift of self that we truly discover who Christ created us to be. As Gaudium et Spes powerfully states, “Man, who is the only creature on earth which God willed for itself, cannot fully find himself except through a sincere gift of himself.”

As Saint Pope John Paul II states, “Man became the image of God not only through his own humanity, but also through the communion of persons.”

Gift of Mary is a nonprofit devoted to serving homeless women in downtown Pittsburgh and leading impactful mission trips. Through practical care, community-building, and spiritual accompaniment, we walk alongside those in need and invite others to join us in this work of mercy.
